About the Porn Aids Project

Porn Aids Project is a needs-based program offered through Pink Cross Foundation to provide physical and financial support for porn performers infected with HIV or AIDS who are low-income or out of work. We lovingly assist with job and resource referrals, food, housing and chaplain services.

Some of the volunteers for Porn Aids Project are ex porn actresses who were infected with sexually transmitted diseases in the porn industry and understand the devastation it causes. Between 1990 and 2010, there have been at least 80 AIDS related deaths in porn industry that we know of and 25 HIV infected porn performers since 2004.

There is no specific organization that reaches out to porn performers with HIV and AIDS so this is why Porn Aids Project through Pink Cross Foundation was created.
